FAQ and solutions

Guidance on accounts, subscriptions, connections, routes, billing and refunds is collected on this page. Start with the basic checks for the symptom you are seeing; if the issue remains, organize your platform, route and error message before submitting a ticket.

Troubleshooting order

Connection issues usually do not require starting with complex settings. First confirm your local network and account status, then update the subscription and switch routes. Finally, check the client’s proxy mode and system permissions. This separates account, route, client and target-service issues, avoiding changes to several settings at once and making the cause harder to identify.

Account

Accounts & subscriptions

A basic guide to account credentials, subscription links, device changes and platform access.

What do I need to set up a 93VPN account?

No email address is required; a username and password are enough. Choose a separate, easy-to-recognize username and store your password securely. Your username identifies your account, and you must sign in to the user panel to view plans, get your subscription and submit tickets.

How do I update my subscription link?

Sign in to the user panel and copy the subscription link for your current account, then update it from your client’s subscription management page. If the client still shows old routes, delete the old local subscription and import it again. The subscription link contains account access credentials, so do not share it publicly or include it in screenshots.

Do I need to purchase another plan when I change devices?

No. 93VPN supports unlimited devices. Sign in to the same account on the new device, get the subscription from the user panel and import it. If the old device is no longer in use, remove the saved subscription configuration to prevent the link from remaining in an unmanaged environment.

Which platforms does 93VPN support?

Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux are supported. Client downloads and subscription access are provided through the user panel; sign in to get the content for your current platform. Marketing pages do not provide static installers or live subscription URLs, helping prevent configurations that do not match your account status.

Connection

Connections & issues

Check your local network, subscription status, proxy mode and system permissions in sequence.

What should I check if the client cannot connect at all?

First confirm that your local network can open commonly used websites, then check your plan and traffic status. Next, update the subscription, switch to another route and reconnect. If every route fails, restart the client and network equipment, and include your platform, the client message and the steps you tried in a support ticket.

What should I do if it says connected but websites will not load?

Disconnect first and check whether the website opens normally on your local network, then reconnect and switch routes. Check whether the client’s system proxy is enabled, whether its proxy mode fits the situation and whether the browser has retained problematic cache data. If the issue persists, change the DNS settings and test again.

Why is a particular app not using the proxy?

A common reason is that the client is using per-app rules but the target app is not included, or the system has not granted the client the required network permissions. Switch to global proxy mode for comparison. If global mode works, return to rule mode, check the app list, domain rules and process matching, then restart the target app.

What can I do if my mobile device frequently disconnects in the background?

In the iOS or Android system settings, confirm that the client has permission to run in the background and access the network, and prevent power-saving policies from ending the connection too soon. Reopen the client, update the subscription and reconnect. If this happens only on a specific network, switch routes and submit a ticket with the conditions that reproduce it.

Routes

Speed & routes

Choose routes based on your local network, the target region and stability during continued use.

How should I choose a route during peak-hour slowdowns?

Start by switching among routes in nearby regions instead of repeatedly reconnecting to the same route. Cross-border links can be affected by local carriers, entry-point congestion and the target service region, so performance may change during peak hours. Test IEPL dedicated routes, relay routes and direct connections separately, then keep the most stable option for regular use.

How should I choose a route region?

As a general rule, start with a geographically nearby route that matches the target service region, then adjust based on loading speed and connection stability. 93VPN covers 110+ countries / 240+ routes. The route count offers more path choices, while actual performance still depends on your local network, the target service and current link conditions.

What should I do if AI Tools or Streaming are unavailable?

First confirm that the target service offers the relevant content in the selected region, then switch to a route matching that region. If the website retains old regional information, clear its site data and sign in to the target service again. If the connection works but a specific feature remains unavailable, compare another route to determine whether the issue is the route region or the target service account.

Why do different devices report different latency?

Latency is affected by the access method, local carrier, device load, background tasks, route distance and target address, so results can differ between devices. When comparing routes, use the same network, target and client settings where possible, and judge stability across repeated access rather than relying on a single result.

Billing

Billing & refunds

Information on plan prices, traffic rules, upgrade calculations, payment methods and refund requests.

Which monthly subscription plans are available?

Monthly plans are ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB and ¥28/month with 500GB. Traffic resets monthly on the activation date. Choose a tier based on typical usage; if your needs change, check the plan status in the user panel before adjusting it.

What is the difference between a traffic package and a monthly subscription?

Traffic packages cost ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB and ¥658/3000GB. They remain valid until used and never expire. Monthly subscription traffic resets each month on the activation date. Compare monthly plans for regular usage, or traffic packages for longer gaps between use or less predictable demand.

How is a mid-cycle monthly plan upgrade calculated?

The price difference for a mid-cycle upgrade is converted into remaining days. Before upgrading, check the current plan, remaining status and target plan in the user panel, then submit the change after confirming. An upgrade does not simply combine the old and new plans; the final status is determined by the order and plan information shown in the user panel.

Which payment methods are supported?

Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT are supported. Payment is available through the plan and order flow in the user panel; complete payment using the method shown on the current order page. After paying, return to the order section to check the status. If it has not updated, keep the order details and submit a ticket through the user panel.

How do I request a refund?

93VPN offers a 60-day no-questions-asked refund. To request one, sign in to the user panel and submit an application through the ticket portal, including the relevant order and refund request so the order status can be verified. Refund coverage and handling rules are governed by the refund policy; confirm that the order record is fully visible before submitting.

Still need help?

Organize your details before submitting a ticket

Include your platform, what the client is doing, the route selected, your local network environment and the troubleshooting steps already completed. You may attach a screenshot of the error, but hide the subscription link, username and sensitive order details. The more specific the description, the easier it is to distinguish an account-status, route-connection, client-rule or target-service issue.
